Oren Davidson
Oren has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for 16 years. He discovered yoga after suffering for years with chronic pain. After falling in love with the practice, he started making regular trips to India to study with Yogrishi Vishvaketu in Rishikesh, the primary founder of Akhanda yoga, spending almost 4 years in his ashram.
Oren loves the brilliance and variety in many different styles of yoga. You will find him in all kinds of classes, however he chose to get 600 hours of certification in AKhanda yoga because of the importance Akhanda places on a holistic practice. In each class
Oren weaves in yoga philosophy, pranayama(breathing techniques), asana (postures), meditation and chanting. By learning yoga in this way which focuses on not just alignment of the body, but on alignment of the body, mind and spirit he was able to unveil the source of his chronic pain and alleviate it for good.
Since Oren had to learn yoga at a snails pace due to his physical limitations when starting out, he encourages all who wish to practice yoga to come to his classes. Even if the class is too demanding for you on the day, he will find something for you to do that suits your needs and keeps the momentum of your practice alive. All are welcome.
